Assignment 3 (MY LIFE)

Brief Description of My Life.

Hello everyone! What is all about me? My name is Choo Zhan Zhun and I’m 21 years old. I’m from Ipoh (place where the tastiest foods are!) and I’m living with my family. I’m currently in second year of my degree course of Business Administration in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). There are a lot of amazing things to be talk about my life actually.

First and foremost, I got my lovely parents, an elder brother, a twin brother and also a sister. I have a pretty girlfriend that teaches me to become a better person. They are definitely the one that I could not afford to lose. All of them care me like how I wished for and can you imagine how great that is? Talk about my home, it’s a semi-D terrace house located at Ipoh and it’s full of lovely bonsai that my father would love them so much. Not forgetting the home’s guard dog that always cheers people up with its unique behavior.

I love playing basketball and whenever I’m stressed, playing basketball will be able to cool me down. My favourite team in NBA is Los Angeles Lakers and favourite player is Kobe Bryant. His pure talent motivates me to play better and improve myself. His hard work and passion gives me the energy to move on in my life.

Besides, I love wildlife and it opens up my mind whenever I’m pessimistic (my greatest weakness!). The wonderful wildlife and nature relaxes my mind. This is another reason why I love animals. I personally think that animals are great and should be protected no matter how. Most of them are not aggressive except when they are in harm or hurt.

There are few more people that actually motivate my life and lead me to better life. The legendary Bruce Lee is one of them and his quotes teach me not to be lazy and always work hard to achieve what we wanted for. He teaches me that there are no limits, there are only plateaus, and we must not stay there instead we must go beyond them. This is how I remind myself whenever I feel hopeless and upset.

I hope to succeed in my life and being respected as a useful person. I believe that without effort, there will be no success at all.

Difference Between Information Technology (IT) and Information System (IS)

Basically, information technology (IT) and information system (IS) are partially connected but not wholly. They are both linked to technology, information and both are aimed to improve human daily life into an ease.

IT to be defined briefly is a term that encompasses all forms of technology used to create, store, exchange, and use information in its various forms. It's a convenient term for including both telephony and computer technology in the same word.

Whereby IS is the collection of technical and human resources that provide the storage, computing, distribution, and communication for the information required by all or some part of an enterprise .

IT specializes specifically in using computer technology and telecommunications technology to transmit, translate and store various types of information- although there are a ton of other types of jobs that do fall under the IT. IS is the study of complementary networks of hardware and software where it needs IT to complete the whole process. In my opinion, IT is just like a car and IS is like the fuel. They can’t perform in optimize level without both complying together. Computer technologies (IT) have to operate software and hardware in order to perform its functions such as create, store, exchange, and use information in its various forms. Without IT, IS could not perform as well because IS needed something mechanical to operate itself.
